But such was the demand that Edward had little choice but to offer his delicious and award-winning ice creams in convenient take-home packs, as well as catering sizes so that other retailers could offer their customers 'the best' too. Soon you could find Minghella Ice Cream all over the Isle of Wight and in more and more outlets in the south of England.

And how the story continues...

We take great pride in maintaining the superb quality of our products, which have won for us many awards.

We still use only the best, freshest, most natural ingredients (no GMOs!), including full cream milk and double cream from the finest local dairy herds, and constantly invest time, energy and enthusiasm in research and development to ensure that our flavours are second to none. Now suppliers to a number of leading companies, we remain a family-run business. Edward and Gloria have recently been joined by their daughter, Gioia, and all three maintain a personal involvement in the daily management of the company and manufacturing processes to ensure that our delicious ice creams will continue to delight the growing numbers of Minghella Ice Cream addicts!

Meanwhile, his interest in innovation as well as in diet and health led Edward Minghella in recent years to develop the patented Dolce Vita range of real ice creams especially for Diabetics and Slimmers. The only product of its kind to be approved by the British Diabetic Association, Dolce Vita reflects the quality and excellence of every Ice Cream we produce: it uses only the best, natural ingredients and is made to the same exacting standards as the rest of our range.

We now have a clear customer profile: everyone!

It does seem that good taste is timeless and ageless. Our discerning and health-conscious customers come from every age group, and from the youngest to the most mature and sophisticated, our aim is to offer them all the very best ice cream they have ever tasted.
